The idea of Creative Commons is to make it easy to find an image (or other resource) to reuse with the legal permission of the creator.
One easy way is to use the Flickr Creative Commons portal.
If I want to find mandala images for which I only need to provide an attribution, I click on the "more" link under Attribution to get to a search page that only searches Creative Commons Attribution images. Searching on mandala from this page, I get 326 images.
